Trinity Children’s Ministry
For Families:
Trinity invites children (ages 3-fifth grade) to join us on Sunday mornings for children’s church during our service. Children will go to our designated children’s area and then return to the service for Holy Communion.
For Families with Children Remaining in Church:
We know that children may squirm and have trouble remaining quiet during a service. It’s the way God made them! We invite you to check out our children’s area with a rug and rocking chairs, currently located behind our worship space. Give your kids some space to spread out without having to worry about disturbing the service.

Sacred Circle Time
Every children’s church session begins with what we refer to as “sacred circle time.” This is a special time where we encourage the children to take some time to focus on the three aspects of the Holy Trinity—a clear point of focus at Trinity GMC! The children learn about God the Creator, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.

Focused Object Time
Each week, “sacred circle time” is followed by a focused object time. This time is centered around a basic object that symbolizes an aspect of the Bible story we are focusing on each week. This object may be something as simple as Play-Doh, a chain, a heart, or many other items! Sometimes the same story may be focused on multiple weeks in a row—the aspects we are focusing on will change each week!

A Time for Blessing
Here at Trinity, we want to emphasize that children are blessings! Children often find themselves to be misunderstood, and our intention is for this to be a safe space where they ARE understood. We conclude our time together each week by giving children a blessing and emphasizing that they are blessings as Jesus emphasized.
